What can I do at the Nosadillo?
You can do whatever you like in the hostel, as long as you respect the other guests. Remember that you must respect hours of silencefrom 11 p.m. until 8 a.m. care must be taken not to disturb other travellers in shared rooms and in the kitchen. If you want to listen to music or watch a movie, remember to use earphones!
Can I cook inside the hostel?
The kitchen is available to all guests to prepare excellent meals during your stay in Bologna. Simply buy your food and you can use the refrigerator, pantry and communal products to refresh yourself properly. Remember that it is important for us to recycle all waste, we try to aspire to pollute as little as possible, and the City of Bologna is very eco-conscious.
Is breakfast included?
Breakfast is included in the price and is served from 8:00 to 10:00 every morning in the kitchen. In case of early departure (earlier than 8:00 a.m.) you can request in the days before a breakfast box to get off on the right foot.
In case of intolerances we will organise to accommodate you, remember to notify the staff.
Can I smoke inside the facility?
Smoking is strictly prohibited within the structure. As in any public place, it is important to respect this rule as stipulated in Law No. 3/2013. In the event of violation of this very important rule you will be charged a penalty of 30 Euro and in the event of repeated violation you will be obliged to leave the facility.
Is there a laundry service?
They are present in the structure washing machine at a cost of EUR 6.00 and tumble dryer (free of charge). Detergent is included in the price. Ask the staff and they will help you start washing.
Are towels and sheets included?
Included free of charge is the towel (not sponge for ecological reasons), as well as bed linen clean and a hairdryer for shared use. Slippers, shower gel, shampoo and all personal hygiene products are not included.
Can I get out of bed later than the check-out time (10:30)?
The time of check-out is imperative, if you stay over 10:30 a.m. you will be charged for the bed for the next day. You can safely leave your used sheets on your bed, the staff will change them during cleaning hours. It is important return the keys at the time of exit to the staff on duty, otherwise there is a penalty of 20 Euro.
If I arrive in the evening or late at night?
In case of night check-in (after 20:00), the first thing to do is to notify the hostel (also via WhatsApp) of your arrival time.
We will ask you to complete the online check in with your document information and to pay the tax in advance.
Afterwards, the Nosadillo staff will provide you with an access code to the facility and all the necessary instructions for finding a bed.
How can I check in?
Reception is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., before 12 noon you can leave your documents here and wait to check in. The documents we can accept are identity card, passport and driving licence.
Therefore, it is not possible to show any other type of identification document such as a residence permit.
What is the area like where the hostel is located?
The Nosadillo is an integral part of the historic centre Bolognese. Via Nosadella is small and with little traffic and therefore safe even in the evening hours. Piazza Maggiore, the basilica of San Petronio and the two towers are less than 10 minutes from the hostel. Other minor places of interest such as San Francesco or San Domenico are close by and it will be a breeze to stop by. The location is also perfect for walking under the world's longest portico (a Unesco candidate) to reach the sanctuary of San Luca and in case continue along the via degli dei. Of great charm is the colourful 'Pratello', a street along which there is a succession of bars, pubs, beer gardens, taverns, trattorias and more that come alive especially in the evening hours and host a less fashionable but more alternative and artistic movida.
Do I have to pay anything on arrival?
At check-in you only have to pay the tourist tax (which corresponds to EUR 3.00 per person per night each month) if you made your reservation via our website.
The following rate will be applied based on the average booking price:
- less than € 30.99 per night: € 3 per night tourist tax
- more than 31.00€ per night: 4.20€ per night tourist tax
Is there Wi-fi at the Nosadillo?
Of course! Wi-Fi is free of charge and is spread throughout the hotel with a speed of up to 2.5 Gbps: suitable for both leisure and business.
Can I cancel or change my reservation?
It is possible to change or cancel the reservation at least 3 days before of check-in. There is no refund for early departures o delays in arrival than the dates agreed upon at the time of booking.
Guests leaving early are required to pay for the room for the remaining. days of the booking.
What does shared room mean?
The Nosadillo hostel has only shared roomsThis means that travellers share their stay with other guests in common spaces and rooms. Choose your room type from male, female and mixed and start living the hostel spirit!
